Police nabs 20 on gambling charges

FAISALABAD: The police have arrested 20 persons on charge of gambling from different areas of the city.

On a tip-off, Ghulam Muhammad Abad police raided Sadar Bazaar and arrested eight persons, including Irshad etc red-handed while gambling on play-cards.

Similarly Sargodha Road police arrested two gamblers Amine etc. fromHajwairi Town while D-Type police nabbed four accused Ashraf etc. from Ghausia Chowk, three accused Iftikhar etc. from Muhammadi Chowk and three accused Nasir etc. from Imam Bargah Chowk on charge of gambling.

Separate cases were registered against the accused.
