‘Lahore Se Aagey’ premieres in Karachi

LAHORE: The new Pakistani film after a star-studded premiere in Lahore came for the second one in Karachi a night before its much-awaited release.

The red carpet event held at Nueplex Cinemas was attended by the lead cast and crew in addition to many others from the industry.

Directed by Wajahat Rauf the new romantic comedy is a sequel to his first film Karachi Se Lahore which was released last year.

A comedy adventure just like its prequel the actor-turned-writer of the film Yasir Hussain says ‘Lahore Se Aagey’ is refreshingly funny.

Also present at the red carpet, actress Saba Qamar who plays the lead role of a rock star praising all the teamwork hopes it pleases the viewers.

Attending the premiere with other cast and production team singer/song writer Shiraz Uppal who has composed the soundtrack for the film says the four songs also include an item number.

Along with Saba Qamar and Yasir Hussain, the film also stars Mubashar Malik, Rubina Ashraf, Noor-ul-Hassan, Atiqa Odho, Behroz Sabzwari and others.

To be screened in local cinemas from November 11th, Lahore Se Aagey will be released worldwide later this year.
