Karachi's I.I.Chundrigar Road briefly closed for traffic due to security concerns
I.I. Chundrigar was closed for traffic after a bomb threat was received at the State Life Building

KARACHI: The city's business artery I.I.Chundrigar Road was briefly closed for traffic from Tower till Shaheen Complex citing security concerns.
Heavy traffic clogged the surrounding areas and was diverted to M.R.Kyani Road from Tower, traffic police officials said.
DIG South said that a bomb threat had been received in the State Life Building. It was searched and then given a security clearance.
He added that the number from which the phone call informing about the threat came had been switched off and police was trying to trace the caller.
After the area was cleared, I.I. Chundrigar was opened for traffic.
