Maj Gen Mohammad Saeed appointed DG Rangers Sindh: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Major General Mohammad Saeed has been posted Director General Rangers Sindh, according to an ISPR statement.

The ISPR statement said that Major General Nadeem Anjum has been appointed Inspector General Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan.

Major transfers and shuffle in military ranks surfaced earlier this week. The most significant changes came as former DG Rangers Sindh Lt Gen Bilal Akbar was posted as Chief of General Staff (CGS).

Also, Lieutenant General Naveed Mukhtar was posted as the Director General of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) replacing Lt Gen Rizwan Akhtar.

The major transfers and postings came days after Gen Qamar Bajwa assumed charge as Chief of Army Staff.
