Karachi police arrests wanted ‘target-killer’ linked to a political party

KARACHI: A wanted target killer associated with a political party was arrested on late Saturday night in Karachi, claims police.

Authorities at New Karachi police jurisdiction said that the suspect, Sajid, an activist of a political party, confessed his involvement in at least two cases of targeted-killing and other crimes, further adding that weapons were found from him on his arrest.

The suspects` brother, Wahid Mulla, is also wanted in the target killing cases, police informed.

Meanwhile, in different areas of the metropolis including Malir Saudabad, Baldia Town Madina Colony, FB Area Block- 15 and Nishtar Road, at least six people were taken into custody; weapons, stolen good and motorcycles were recovered from them.
