PAF kills terrorists, pounds hideouts in Khyber Agency: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Air Force carried out an operation in Rajagal Area of Khyber Agency late on Tuesday where several terrorists were killed, the military wing Inter-service Public Relations (ISPR) said.

Security sources said that the operation conducted in the Tirah Valley killed five terrorists, injured several and destroyed three militant hideouts.

The sources added that the terrorists belonged to the banned Lashkar-e-Islam and Daesh.

After a week of deadly militant attacks and bombings killed at least 100 people in Pakistan, security forces have initiated a countrywide crackdown, nabbing suspects and carrying out search operations.

On Wednesday evening Pakistan launched Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad.
