RAWALPINDI: The Rangers in collaboration with other law enforcement agencies arrested ten suspects including an Afghan national Thursday.

In a joint collaboration with the police department and Pakistan Army, the Rangers carried out a search operation in various areas of the city including Pirwadhai, Dhok Ratta, and Dhok Hassu.

Data about individuals relocating from tribal areas was collected in the operation, sources told Geo News.

A largescale operation in posh areas of the city with a high concentration of individuals who’ve relocated from tribal areas is also expected, sources said.

Launched on Wednesday, the nationwide military operation 'Radd-ul-Fasaad' will include broad-spectrum security and counter-terrorism operations in Punjab, and continuation of ongoing operations across the country.

According to the Director-General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) wing of the Pakistan Army, the operation aims include the elimination of the residual and latent threat of terrorism, consolidating gains of operations made so far and ensuring the security of Pakistan’s borders.
