SHARJAH: Leg-spinner Usama Mir said on Wednesday that the skipper Karachi Kings Kumar Sangakkara instructed him to give his 100 percent and play fearless cricket in the match against Islamabad United.

He said that in this edition of the Pakistan Super League, he is playing with more confidence. “I would say that I am enjoying my performance and learning game awareness from the senior cricketers in this PSL,” he said. “I just want that in whichever team I am playing, I put my share of performance.”

Mir said that heavy dew was challenging for the bowlers in the last match, especially for a leg-spinner. However, he made sure to give his best.
