SWAT: A 22-year-old woman in Mingora city has taken up the responsibility of educating over 30 children.

Mona Khan, who pays school fee for these children from her own pocket, has set an example for others. The young woman who has completed her graduation from a university, sometimes asks friends to pool in to meet school expenses.

“Education is their right. But these flowers have been deprived of education,” Mona said speaking to Geo News.

One of the children who is being sponsored by Mona says he wants to be doctor when he grows up.

It’s heartening to see one woman’s efforts helping so many children dream big.
