54 arrested in search operation in Jhelum and Lodhran

JHELUM: Police and security forces arrested 54 suspects in Jhelum and Lodhran in the ongoing operation Radd-ul-Fasaad Thursday.
Over 50 houses were searched in Lodhran and 40 individuals were arrested from the city. 14 suspects were arrested from Jhelum.
Arms and ammunition were recovered from one suspect. The biometric verification of the arrested individuals is underway, according to police sources.
10 unidentified motorcycles were taken in police custody from Lodhran in the ongoing country-wide operation Radd-ul-Fasaad.
The arrested individuals will be charged under the Punjab Tenancy Act, the police said.
