Firing kills 3 in Lahore

LAHORE: Unknown men shot dead three persons on Saturday at Ravi Road.

Police said two of the people were killed on the spot, while an injured person was rushed to the hospital who later succumbed to his wounds.

The deceased included two brother Ayub and Shakoor, while the third person killed was a passerby.

A recent spate of violence and targeted killings have hit the city.  Former Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians (PPP-P) ticket holder Babar Sohail Butt was gunned down last week.
