KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party leader Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday said that governments come and go, adding that the Pakistan People’s Party has to remain alive in the pages of history.

The PPP president was addressing a press conference. “For the sake of democracy, we accepted RO elections,” he said, adding that his party’s priority was saving Pakistan at that time.

He criticised his political opponents, saying that the politicians are carrying out development projects which will benefit them.

He said that his party’s priority is Pakistan’s stability, adding that they will struggle for the country’s betterment.

On Wednesday, former President Asif Ali Zardari had warned the government that it doesn’t take too long for time to change.

“I am threatening the government and its minister. I am also threatening the man whose hair is never ruined,” he said. “It is possible that you will fall down on my feet like Saif-ur-Rehman.”

Zardari had made these remarks during an interview with Hamid Mir on Capital Talk. The interview aired on Geo News on Wednesday.
