NAB summons Mustafa Kamal over charges of illegally selling plots in Karachi

KARACHI: The National Accountability Bureau has summoned Pak Sarzameen Party chief Mustafa Kamal for illegally selling plots allocated for seashell craft sellers’ in Clifton.

The sources said plots of 11 yards were first merged into one of 100 yards and then sold.

The officials said the investigation has started in the case of 400 such plots and Kamal has been summoned for Wednesday (tomorrow) when he would give his written reply in the matter.

Kamal later in the day talked to media personnel. He said that his name is being dragged into cases as he is fighting for the rights of people of Sindh.

“National Accountability Bureau had called me as a witness in two 11-year-old cases,” he said told the media after his visit to the NAB head office.

Kamal said that no city Nazim can sell a government plot. The PSP chief said he had no reservations over being called by the NAB and he would go to the office whenever the bureau calls him.
