Snapchat introduced custom stories on Tuesday, the feature allows users to create stories for select friends and family members or for contacts in a specific location.
“Today we’re announcing a new way to create custom Stories – about anything, with any of your friends, even for a specific location,” Snapchat announced on their website.
Users will now be able to choose who can add to the story and who can view it.
As well as being able to select additional friends who can view the custom stories but won’t be able to contribute to it.
Custom stories can be ideal for occasions such as trips, birthday parties, or any particular story limited to just a group of people.
According to Snapchat, custom stories will disappear if no one from the group adds anything for 24 hours.
