HESCO assures smooth dispense of power till Muharram 10

HYDERABAD: In a meeting with a delegation of Markazi Tanzeem Aza Hyderabad led by Aftab Hussain Jaffri Saturday, CEO HESCO Muzaffar Abbasi has assured that load shedding would be avoided till the tenth day of Ashura.

The delegation, comprising representatives of different Shiite organizations, had called upon the CEO Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) to apprise him about the load shedding woes.

They conveyed to HESCO chief that suspension of power supply besides causing darkness at the time of majalis and processions, increases the chances of any untoward incident.

Acting in response to those complaints the CEO assured the delegation that all possible measures would be taken to ensure that uninterrupted power supply was maintained.

On the occasion, two focal persons were also chosen for coordination including one each from HESCO and the mourners' delegation.
