Karachi oil factory fire doused

KARACHI: The fire, which broke out at an oil factory in Karachi Monday afternoon, has been extinguished, officials of the fire brigade confirmed.

The blaze erupted at the factory located in the city's SITE area. Five fire tenders partook in extinguishing the inferno, officials said.

They confirmed the fire had been brought under control and the process of cooling was underway

Fortunately, no loss of life occurred in the wake of blaze.

However, the reason for breaking out of the blaze is yet to be ascertained.
