ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday extended his deepest sympathies to the government and people of China over the devastating landslides that hit the country recently.

At least ten people have been confirmed dead and 93 are missing after the landslide engulfed Xinmo village in mountainous Sichuan province on Saturday. Heavy rain triggered the landslide, authorities have said.

On behalf of the government and people of Pakistan, I extend my deepest sympathies to the victims and their families.”
