Kohat fire: 10 shops reduced to ashes

KOHAT: As many as 10 shops were reduced to ashes in a fire in Kohat shoe market, which erupted on Friday morning.
The fire started after short-circuiting occurred in one of the shops in Al-Falah market, located at Kohat Cantt. Soon, the blaze spread to other shops.
Following the fire, all the routes to the market were sealed.
Fire brigade reached the site and attempts to curb the blaze are under way.
Even though no casualties were reported in the fire but two people in the shops had fainted, who were safely rescued.
