Apple unveils hijab, bearded man emojis

Apple on Monday revealed new emojis to celebrate World Emoji Day which will be released as part of iOS 11, slated to be released this autumn, said a statement released by the tech giant.   

Among the new emojis, the company has shown woman with headscarf, bearded person, and food items such as sandwich and coconut.

Mythical creatures and animals are also included in the new emoji lineup. Users will be able to send T-Rex, zombie and elf emojis among others. 

"With thousands of emoji available on iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac, there are many ways to add personality to every message."

"More animals and mythical creatures like T-Rex, Zebra, Zombie and Elf are a fun way to describe situations and new Star-Struck and Exploding Head smiley faces make any message more fun," added Apple's statement.
