Two MQM-London suspects involved in murders arrested: Sindh Rangers spokesman

KARACHI: Sindh Rangers Spokesman Colonel Qaiser on Wednesday said two suspects from Muttahida Quami Movement-London (MQM-L), involved in the murder of two people in Orangi Town on July 17, have been arrested by the paramilitary force.
The Rangers spokesman was addressing a press conference, where he also played the audio recording of the MQM founder.
“Altaf Hussain congratulated terrorists in South Africa for carrying out target killing in Karachi,” the Rangers spokesman said.
He claimed the suspects were getting financing from South Africa and they received a message on WhatsApp to carry out the killings.
The suspects received Rs50,000 in their accounts, said Rangers Sindh spokesman.
The Rangers spokesman further said the suspects, after being arrested, revealed the names of their accomplices. “These accomplices were in direct contact with Altaf Hussain, Nadeem Nusrat, and Qamar Teddy and Abdul Rashid alias Babu Bihari. They were planning the target killing of central leaders and workers of political parties.”
The suspects have been identified as Mohammad Raheem and Mohammad Danish and added that ammunition has also been recovered from the suspects possession.
“The times have changed now, the city does not get closed down on a phone call,” Col Qaiser said
He said that a few banned outfits are working from Afghanistan.
The Sindh Rangers spokesman said that evidence has been gathered in the recent attacks on policemen recently.
