Bilawal Bhutto addressing rally in Chiniot

CHINIOT: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on Saturday said that PPP was made to lose 2013 elections under a pre-planned conspiracy, warning that he will not allow anyone to rig elections this time.

Bilawal is addressing a rally in Chiniot, in a ‘show of force’ just as the ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif resumes his journey to Lahore via GT Road after stopovers in different cities on the way.

Criticising Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz chief Nawaz Sharif, he said that the former premier is crying foul over being disqualified but has forgotten how many times he himself was involved in getting the country’s prime ministers removed.

On Friday, Bilawal addressed a press conference in Islamabad where he claimed that Nawaz Sharif was only trying to save himself. He said there was no threat to democracy at the moment and added that the PPP would not accept demands from any other party.

Bilawal said he will not make any contact with PML-N, will not pick their calls or go to a meeting.

"They are on their own," said the PPP chairman.
