MQM-London target killer, 10 suspects arrested in CTD Karachi raids

KARACHI: The Counter-terrorism Department arrested on Saturday 11 suspects, including a target killer of Muttahida Quami Movement London, in raids conducted in different areas of the city.

The target killer, Irfan alias Mama was involved in several incidents of target-killing and attempted murder, according to SSP CTD Omar Shahid.

The CTD personnel also recovered a huge cache of arms from the suspects’ possession. After receiving a tip-off, police arrested Irfan from Qasba Colony.

Apart from this, 10 suspects were arrested from various areas of the city. The suspects were involved in target-killing, street crimes, theft and drug peddling.

In a separate incident, two people including a woman were injured when unknown people opened fire on a car in Defence. 

Last night, unknown robbers broke into 16 shops in Qayyumabad, stealing money from the jewelry, garments and toy shops. The shopkeepers when went to open their shops early morning they found the locks broken, following which they called Rangers.
