Misbah, Afridi do 'lap of honour' at Gaddafi Stadium during final

Former Test captain Misbah-ul-Haq and all-rounder Shahid Afridi performed a 'lap of honour' at the Gaddafi Stadium during the innings break of the final T20 match between Pakistan and World XI.

The two were driven around the stadium in rickshaws which were had also taken the World XI team round the stadium before the start of the first match.

Misbah was presented with the Spirit of Cricket and Geo News Lifetime Achievement awards in a star-studded PCB annual awards ceremony on Thursday night.

However, Afridi, who had also been invited to the ceremony, did not attend the event, giving rise to speculations of a tussle between the board and the player.

Afridi last played for Pakistan in 2016. Misbah quit international cricket after the Caribbean series in May this year.
