City Government launches CRMS
FAISALABAD: City District Government (CDG) Faisalabad has launched computerized registration management system (CRMS) for the registration of land, property and the documents of power of attorney to check the menace of forgery and fraud in property registration.

District Coordination Officer (DCO) Naseem Sadiq inaugurated the CRMS here on Saturday at registration office of Revenue Department.

He examined the entire process of computerized registration system and appreciated the administrative efforts of revenue and information technology departments.

He said that it was first ever system in the Punjab Revenue Department which had been established without government financial resources.

Talking to the media men on the occasion, he said that the services of the different district departments were being made inline with the advance and scientific technology for prompt disposal of official work for the relief of general public.

He assured that computerized registration management system would be further improved day by day and one window operation in this centre would also be ensured besides providing comfortable facilities to the persons came for the purpose on some observations of lawyer community.

The DCO said that this system would be made more comprehensive and NADRA family number would also be entered along with the registration of documents for the ready reference of legal heirs of the concerned parties.

EDO IT Ashiq Dogar informed the DCO that entire management and software development had been made by the District IT Department for operation of this system.

He said that the software pertaining to the registration information was being improved for ensuring the complete database regarding the properties.

EDOR Liaqat Ali Chattha briefed on the occasion that the snaps of the buyers and sellers of the properties were being printed on the stamp papers through computer and the impressions of the thumbs of the concerned parties were also be put on the documents through biometric system besides having the services of the NADRA for the verification of national ID card on the spot.

He said that this system was being made popular and the buyers of the properties were insisting for the computerized registration of the land properties.

Earlier, DCO Naseem Sadiq unveiled the plaque for the inauguration of computerized registration management system.
