Bilour condemns Taseer's assassination

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Railways Haji Ghulam Ahmed Bilour on Tuesday condemned the firing on Governor Punjab Salman Taseer which claimed his life.

He said the people involved in such brutalities were enemies of humanity, Islam and Pakistan.

Such incidents, he said are intended to malign the image of country and disrupt its peace.

He said Taseer's death has caused a gap in national politics that is difficult to be bridged.

He prayed for forgiveness of the deceased and expressed sympathies with the bereaved family.
