MQM-P member shot dead in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: A member of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P), Dr Noshad, was shot dead in a targeted attack in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
Police officials said the attackers, riding a motorcycle, shot at Dr Noshad’s vehicle near Rasheed Bhayya Park within the limits of Gulshan Halinagar Police Station.
After the incident, MQM-P MNA Waseem Hurrain and party leader Rashid Khaleji, along with other party officials, reached Civil Hospital where Dr Noshad’s body was taken after the incident.
Hussain told Geo News that Noshad was a member of the party’s Sector-F.
He added that Noshad was attacked after dropping his children to school.
Hospital officials said he was shot four times.
Later, CCTV footage of the incident showed two attackers on a motorcycle shooting at the MQM-P leader.
Both attackers were not wearing helmets.
