President summons Khosa for consultation over appointment of Punjab governor

KARACHI: President Asif Ali Zardari is in consultation with Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders over the appointment of Punjab Governor after the assassination of Salman Taseer, Geo News reported on Saturday.

According to sources, the President has summoned federal minister for finance Abdul Hafeez sheikh, advisor to PM Lateef Khosa and other senior party leaders in Karachi.

They added that President Zardari will hold consultations with party leaders at Bilawal House today over the appointment of the new governor.

President Supreme Court Bar Association Asima Jahangir will also call on Asif Ali Zardari at Bilawal House, they said.
