GUJRAT: One of the victims of Turbat Killing, identified as 22-year-old Danish Ali, was going to get married in December, revealed his family members to Geo News.

Danish was his parent’s only son and brother of two sisters. His parents, who were inconsolable when their son’s body arrived home, had high hopes of him.

Danish aspired to travel abroad to improve the standard of living of his family and become the main bread winner of the family.

His father said that Danish had left his house about 18 days back. However, all the other family members abroad keep contacting their parents but Danish hadn’t contacted the family for a while, the father shared.

Danish’s body was among five others which were found in Tajban area of Turbat Friday night.

According to Levies officials, the bodies were found in a remote area of the district, amid bushes. The bodies were taken to the hospital for identification Saturday morning.

A few days back, 15 bodies were recovered from Buleda area of Turbat. The deceased were set to be residents of Punjab who were being sent to Europe , via Iran, illegally through agents.

While Buleda borders the Pakistan-Iran border, Tajban is closer to Panjgur.

While speaking to Geo News, Balochistan government spokesperson Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar said the five bodies were found during an operation which was launched in the area after the 15 bodies were recovered a few days back.

He added that as per their assessment the five, recovered Friday night, could have been killed on the same day on which the other 15 were shot as the two areas, Buleda and Tajban, are not very far from each other.
