Minor student has eye damaged due to 'teacher's torture' in Badin

BADIN: A minor student is on the brink of losing his eyesight after being subjected to brutal torture by his teacher in Badin, parents alleged Thursday.

The incident took place at a private school in Tando Bago taluka of Badin district in Sindh, wherein a nursery student was brutally tortured by his teacher.

The child received multiple bruises close to his left eye and has undergone surgery, parents said, but the chances for him to regain his eyesight are bleak.

The school administration denies the incident having taken place at school premises.

Police have registered initial report of the incident and say they would further investigate it.
