Police register case of teenage girl's murder during Karachi robbery

KARACHI: A 16-year-old girl was brutally murdered with a sharp-edged object during an incident of robbery in Karachi’s Saudabad early Tuesday.

Two robbers entered the house of the resident and killed the younger girl, Alveena, upon resistance, according to police officials.

The thieves took cash, jewelry, and valuables along with them.

According to the girl’s mother, the robbers wanted to kill the elder sister too but fortunately, she was saved.

Police said the issue is under investigation and progress has been made. Police officials further said that the facts about the incident will also be discovered soon.

Meanwhile, the police have registered a case against unidentified people in the Saudabad police station.
