SARGODHA: Lawmakers from the ruling PML-N have again contacted Dargah Sial Sharif after its custodian, Pir Hameeduddin Sialvi, announced his dissociation from Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz a day earlier.

According to sources, a PML-N MPA from Punjab, Chaudhry Abdul Razzaq, contacted the nephew of Hameeduddin Sialvi, Punjab MPA Sahibzada Ghulam Nizamuddin Sialvi, requesting him to solve matters through talks.

Abdul Razzaq earlier handed his resignation to Hameeduddin Sialvi.

Information has also surfaced regarding Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif holding talks with MPAs across Sargodha, while Federal Minister for Railway Khawaja Saad Rafique has also contacted Sial Sharif, a village in the district.

Hameeduddin Sialvi has announced to hold a Finality of Prophethood conference on December 10 in Faisalabad, where 15 MPAs are likely to announce their resignation, according to the custodian.

On Wednesday, Hameeduddin Sialvi reiterated their demand for a resignation by the law minister of Punjab.

Speaking to the media, Pir Sialvi had said that they would have no association with the ruling PML-N moving forward.

"Fingers are being pointed at us for entering into a deal [with PML-N]," he had said.
