Five outlaws arrested; snatched car, weapons recovered

ISLAMABAD: Industrial Area Police have arrested five persons involved in snatching vehicles, mobile phones at gun point and also recovered a car and illegal weapons from their possession, a police spokesman said.
According to details, SP Industrial Area directed Station House Officer I-9 Police Station to curb activities of anti-social elements. Following these directions, SHO constituted special team. The team succeeded to arrest five accused identified as Kamran, Rizwan, Naqeeb Ullah, Usman and Abid Hussain.

The accused also confessed of snatching a car (MR-577) from a person Najeeb and wounded him in dacoity in sector I-8/2 while a pistol and dagger were also recovered from them.

SSP Islamabad has appreciated the performance of this police team and directed to further accelerate efforts against anti-social elements.
