Sindh Police arrest 150 criminals in 24 hrs

KARACHI: Sindh police during last 24 hours arrested 150 accused including a notorious bandit having one million rupees head money and recovered illegal weapons and drugs from their possession, police said.

New Fojdari Police Station of District Shikarpur arrested a notorious robber Azim alias Kazim Jatoi having one million rupees head money. The arrested accused was involved in 94 heinous cases.

Police in other actions arrested 37 accused involved in heinous crimes, 32 accused were nabbed red-handed from the scenes of crimes while six absconders and 77 proclaimed offenders were also arrested.

During these actions the police recovered seven Kalashnikovs, two rifles, five guns, 15 pistols, a repeater gun, 261 rounds, 2.91kg hashish and 56 grams of heroin from the arrested persons.

The police also busted three gangs of criminals and killed a robber during shoot out. (PPI)
