According to a spokesman of the committee, Rs.33.975 million will be spent on the construction of four roads in the area of Tandlianwala Sugar Mills from Sammundri Road to Gujrati Mor, from Chak No.447-GB Mor to Chak Fateh Shah, from Kanjwani Mills Road to Zafar Chowk and from Jalla Mor to Kanjwani while Rs.38.164 million were allocated for construction of four roads in the area of Hunza Sugar Mills from Shahkot Road near Sitara Chemical Mills to Chak Jhumra Shahkot Road, from Khurarianwala Rajbah to Shahkot-Jhumra Road, from Khurarianwala to Jhumra Road and from Chak No.149-RB to Chak No.141-RB Aaqil Kay.
Two roads will be constructed in the area of Chinar Sugar Mills at an estimated cost of Rs.30.67 million. These roads include from Jalla Mor to Lakkar Chowk and from Lakkar Chowk to Bahlak Road whereas Rs.16 million will be spent on construction of Chak Jhumra-Salarwala-Sangla Hill Road in the area of Huda Sugar Mills.
About Rs.16.366 million were earmarked for three roads in Madina Sugar Mills including from Canal Burj Chak No.112-JB to Main Road Cahk No.1-JB, from Chak No.46-JB to Chak No.47-JB and from Chak No.47-JB to Main Road Chak No.50-JB while a road from Chak No.49-JB to Jhang Branch Canal will be constructed in the Area of Ramzan Sugar Mill at an estimated cost of Rs. 4.919 million.
Similarly, a road from Chak No.582-GB to Chak No.530-GB will be constructed in the area of Chaudhary Sugar Mill at Rs.4.704 million whereas Rs.13 million will be spent on construction of a road from Mureed Wala to Mamonkanjan, the area of Kamalia Sugar Mills.
In the area of Husain Sugar Mills, a road will be constructed from Chowk 40-Mor to Jaranwala City at Rs.10.937 million while Rs.2.469 million were allocated for construction of a road from Chenab Fair Price Shop Gates to Bhai Wala Railway Crossing, the area of Crescent Sugar Mills, he added.
