KARACHI: Eight Police Stations of Karachi Zone South have arrested 15 accused including alleged murderer, robbers and street criminals and recovered five pistols, 20 rounds, three knives and drugs from their possession, police said.
As per details on the instructions of DIG Zone South the police continued crackdown on criminals. Baghdadi Police arrested a killer red-handed and recovered a 9MM pistol from him. The accused tried to flee after killing one Irfan son of Ghulam Abbass near Bolan Hotel in Baghdadi area but the police after chase arrested him.
Jamshed Quarters Police arrested three street criminals, Shahid, Hameed and Ayaz, and recovered one TT pistol and two knives from their possession. The accused used to loot passengers in Guru Mandir and Lasbella area. In another action police arrested a robber accused Fayaz and recovered TT pistol from him.
Kharadar and Kalri Police nabbed two street criminals, accused Ustad and Ghulam Murtaza, and recovered TT pistol and knife from them.
Meanwhile, Kalokot, Kalri and Risala Police apprehended seven absconders. (PPI)
