BAGHDAD: Over 120 Pakistani pilgrims were left stranded at the Iraqi capital city’s airport on Tuesday night.

According to sources, the pilgrims were stranded after they missed their flight as the tour head vanished with their passports.

“The pilgrims received their passports three hours after the flight had departed,” sources added. The pilgrims were scheduled to reach Lahore via Dubai.

The pilgrims have requested that the government and Pakistani Embassy in Baghdad help them return to the country.
