KARACHI: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on Wednesday sealed all the offices of Shaheen Air, sources said, including its head office in Karachi.

The sources said the head office was sealed by the CAA's airport manager. Employees of the private airline could also not take along their belongings in the wake of sudden action by the authority.

The workers requested the airport manager to allow them to take their belongings, according to sources.

Reached for comment, the CAA spokesperson expressed lack of knowledge of closure of Shaheen Air offices.

The private airline has already had its flight operation suspended over non-payment of dues, the sources said.

They further said the Shaheen Air employees have also not been paid for the past five months.
