A number of accidents have occurred as motorists tried to avoid the severely damaged road, said a resident Talha Nadeem.

He said after the rain, the road has turned into a pond and drivers cannot see big holes on this road which damages vehicles besides creating traffic jams.

A taxi driver Mehboob complained that the concerned are least interested in rehabilitation of this road as no VIP resides here, but is used by thousands of the area.
