Three children killed while playing with mortar shell in Swat

SWAT: Three children were killed and one injured when an old mortar shell they were playing with exploded in Swat’s Matta Tehsil on Wednesday.

According to the police, the children, who all belonged to the same family, were playing with the mortar shell in a field when it exploded, killing them on the spot.

The deceased and the injured were shifted to the Matta Hospital.

Authorities said they have collected evidence from the scene of the incident and launched an investigation.
