CDA union asks Chairman to resolve employees’ issues
ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) Mazdoor Union has given 3-day deadline to CDA chairman Imtiaz Inayat Elahi to resolve problems being faced by employees of the civic body otherwise they would stage a protest demonstration in front of his office.

Mazdoor Union's General Secretary Chaudhry Muhammad Yasin stated this while addressing a function held here at Rose and Jasmine Garden on Wednesday. He reminded the CDA administration that their problems including recruitment of children of CDA employees, allotment of plots and appointment on daily wagers and contract basis were still unresolved.

However, he said the Mazdoor Union has been able to get its demands regarding allotment of plots to widows of employees, Eid allowance, Hajj policy, overtime etc.

"All the 15,000 employees of CDA are united under the umbrella of Mazdoor Union," he said. (APP)
