Govt of Pakistan under fire for incorrect Bill Gates quote

The Government of Pakistan’s official Twitter came under fire after it tweeted a grammatically incorrect quote attributed to Microsoft founder Bill Gates.

“If you born poor its not your mistake but if you die poor its your mistake,” the quote read.

Despite the quote being attributed to Gates, no record of him ever actually saying it has been found.

The post has since been deleted after Twitter users criticised the tweet.
