Justice Khosa does not have any social media account: SC spokesperson

LAHORE: A Supreme Court spokesperson on Saturday rejected reports claiming Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Asif Saeed Khosa has social media accounts.

According to a statement by the SC spokesperson, the chief justice of Pakistan does not have an account on Facebook, Twitter or any other social media site.

“The chief justice has directed the Federal Investigation Agency, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority and other relevant departments to inquire about the fake accounts,” the spokesperson said.

Justice Khosa was sworn in as the 26th chief justice of the country on Friday. He replaced Justice (retd) Mian Saqib Nisar, whose tenure came to an end with his retirement on Thursday.

Khosa, 64, will serve as the chief justice for almost eleven months and will retire on December 20 this year.
