Jazz fans enthralled by German musicians

KARACHI: Music lovers had an enthralling experience at a Jazz concert by Jonas Schoen Quartettwas organised by Consul General of Germany in Karachi.

The performing artists were Jonas Schoen (Saxophone), Buggy Braune (Piano), Sven Kerschek (Bass) and Heinz Lichius (Drums), said an announcement on Sunday.

It said that the leader of the Quartett alternated between the Saxophone and Clarinet and switched effortlessly between the instruments.

The performance that lasted for over an hour was enjoyed by a gathering of music lovers. German Consul General in Karachi Dr. Christian Brech welcomed the guests.

He said on the occasion that music had no boundaries and knew no frontiers.
