ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday said it is their firm belief that Kashmiris will succeed in their struggle.

In their separate messages on Kashmir Solidarity Day, the president and prime minister reassured that Pakistan will remain consistent in its principled position on the Kashmir issue.

President Alvi said, "The entire Pakistani nation stands with its Kashmiri brethren in their valiant struggle to achieve the legitimate right to self-determination. It is our firm belief that Kashmiris will succeed in their struggle."

PM Imran in his message said the freedom movement in occupied Kashmir is getting strength with every passing day.

The premier deplored that seven decades have passed and the dispute of Jammu and Kashmir remains unresolved.

Meanwhile, AJK President Sardar Masood Khan while addressing a ceremony in London said, "It is Britain's moral obligation to help innocent Kashmiris on humanitarian basis."
