MULTAN: Multiple young people were injured during a brawl at a musical concert Sunday night here between the audience members and security, Geo News reported.

According to sources, a clash erupted between some members of the audience and bouncers when the latter attempted to climb the stage. Eventually, the dispute turned into a stampede that left many people wounded.

The concert, which was organised by the administration of a housing society near Old Shujabad Road, featured a few famed performers, including singer Abrar-ul-Haq.

As the event gained momentum, some young people wanted to go on the stage to dance alongside Abrar-ul-Haq when security intervened and an argument ensued.

Consequently, the housing society's administration called the police to the scene and shut off the lights, during which Abrar-ul-Haq left the concert.
