16 outlaws arrested; hashish, weapons seized

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police on Wednesday arrested 16 accused including three women and recovered a stolen motorcycle, 325gram heroin, 1.200 kilogram hashish and two 30 bore pistols from them, a police spokesman said.

On a tip off, CIA police arrested four accused namely Waqas, Afzal, Muhammad Arif, Tariq and recovered a total of 1.200 kilogram hashish and 325 gram heroin from their possession.

Golra police arrested one accused namely Alam Zeb and recovered stolen motorcycle (JL-516) from him. Shalimar police arrested one accused namely Nasir Masih and recovered 30 bore pistol along with 4cartridges from him.

Aabpar police station arrested one accused Aftab and recovered 110 gram heroin from him. Sabzi Mandi police along raided at House no. 834, sector I-10/2 and nabbed five persons for their alleged involvement in immoral activities. They were identified as Musarat Begum, Rabia, Fakhira, Abdul Aziz, Nasrullah and further investigation is underway after registration of case.

Meanwhile, Sabzi Mandi police apprehended three beggars namely Dilawar, Sajawal and Khadim. (APP)
