NAB requests Interior Ministry to put Shehbaz on ECL

ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Monday requested the interior ministry to put Opposition Leader Shehbaz Sharif on the Exit Control List (ECL).

Shehbaz, according to a few media reports, is scheduled to fly to London to be with his ailing granddaughter diagnosed with a cardiac disease and operated on last week.

The newborn remains critical in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital.

The sources said the NA opposition leader will leave Lahore for London on Tuesday.

His son Hamza is already in London with his newborn daughter.
