Women reclaiming social, political spaces important for progress, says Bilawal

KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairperson Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari said Saturday it was "important for progress" that women reclaim social, political, and public spaces.
The PPP chairperson said so during a meeting with the organisers of the Aurat March 2019 here in Karachi. He said it was a "pleasure meeting some" of the inspiring folks.
Further, he referred to the vile and hateful comments being made in some public circles by saying: "Bigoted, misogynistic & vitriolic reaction of some is expected in a patriarchal society.
"Women’s rights are human rights & human rights are women’s rights," he added.
