Patients suffer as doctors in LRH go on strike
PESHAWAR: Patients started suffering numerous problems and pain due to continued strike by doctors at major hospitals of provincial capital to press government for acceptance of their seven-point charter of demands.

The doctors Lady Reading Hospital also went on strike on Monday as majority of outdoor patients go to private clinics or hospitals for treatment where they are being heavily charged.

Most of the outdoors patients, who came from across the province to Lady Reading Hospitals, returned homes without receiving treatment. However, the doctors were available at emergency departments for service of patients.

The doctors of LRH and Hayatabad Medical Complex are also on strike to press government for acceptance of their seven-point charter of demands including service structure for doctors.

The doctors at LRH went on strike for indefinite on call of Provincial Doctors Associations. (APP)
