LAHORE: The Chief Secretary Punjab Nasir Khosa has disposed of as many as 1119 disciplinary cases, appeals and petitions filed by the government officials during the last 15 months.
This was disclosed by the spokesman of the Punjab Government in a statement issued here on Saturday.
According to the spokesman, no case of any nature is lying pending with the Chief Secretary Office as all cases are being disposed of well in time by the Chief Secretary.
The spokesman maintained that the Punjab Government has adopted a comprehensive policy to deal with the issues pertaining to jobs of the Government employees. Under this policy, the meetings of Provincial Promotion Board are being regularly held every month to decide the promotion cases of the Provincial government officers, the spokesman pointed out.
The purpose is to facilitate the government officials in their job matters as it helps to achieve the goals of Public-friendly good governance, concluded the spokesman. (PPI)
